It's GLP Time!

7/5/2014

We'll, we've made it to the airport, and are ready to head to Latin America on the GLP trip. Our group is the last to head off, taking the overnight flight to São Paulo from Dallas.
As is habit, I was first to arrive, seeking out the one place in the airport where decent espresso is served, to have a last shot before Brazil. Looking forward to their take on the drink, the sweet and strong "cafezinho". We get the first day off, so it will be a good chance to get our bearings and get caffeinated.

Once through security, we all set up at the gate, a sea of red SMU polo shirts alongside one of the giant sculptures that are scattered throughout the terminal. A few wandered off to find dinner and check out the shops, but as boarding time drew near, we returned to the gate, eager to begin our journey.

Here's to a great trip. See you in São Paulo!
