![]() Sadly, there’s not much of a blog entry today. Which is another way of saying that there are no survey results today. My apologies. I’m really sorry, as I did want to have a lovely post up this afternoon about the results with pretty pictures of graphs and failed hypotheses, but there’s simply no time today to get it all done (see graph).
As well as that, despite the support of many readers (you rock!), there are not quite as many data points as I would like, so I am hoping that an extra week will bump up the numbers slightly. If you haven’t done the survey yet, click HERE! The other reason that there’s not much of a blog entry today is that the assessment workload is off the charts. There’s a presentation, two essays, and a major assignment all due tomorrow, and they need to be finished and polished today. There’s also a major essay due Wednesday that needs to be worked on, along with all the readings for this week’s classes and starting on another two assignments due next week. You may recall a previous blog entry in which the topic of time management was discussed, and two key points made were about prioritisation and sacrifice. Well, it applies here. The MBA work is the priority at the moment, meaning that non-MBA things get pushed down the list. Gym time and singing practice have already fallen victim much to my chagrin, along with my 37 day streak of Duolingo Italian lessons (Io piango!). If it weren’t for an MBA social trip to see some ice hockey and a dinner for fellow MAMBA Cathy’s birthday, there would have been no social outlets all week. All this work also means missing out on the American cultural phenomena taking place today known as the Super Bowl and the far cuter sounding Puppy Bowl, but there’s always next year. Anyway, Slate magazine summed up the Super Bowl far more eloquently than I ever could by writing about it as if it were the American media reporting on a foreign event. Hopefully there’ll be time next weekend to get the survey results analysed and up. Again, my apologies, and thanks for your support. Now to brew some more coffee and get back to work.
