Then it will be the end of semester. It's hard to believe that it's nearly December already, but things have moved so fast since starting the course. The MBA program really does cause you to focus to the point of forgetting the passage of time. And despite the whirlwind approach to teaching, the concepts actually seem to have stuck in. I've learned more about accounting and finance and arts organisation fundraising in the past four months than I have in the past thirty years. And there's three more semesters to go after this. Lots of knowledge to pick up.
So what's ahead? Well, next week will be the first Thanksgiving I've had since the 1980s. Then it's study, then three days of exams, then two days of relative rest before flying out to Florida for a week of training at the Disney Institute (which also includes running around Disneyworld...). Then maybe a day or two off before spending the winter break in Dallas doing research work and catching up on reading.
But before all that I am taking the night off. :)
